- Fact detective piece for later polished profile of American heiress, Barbara Hutton.
- This series contains material related to Jennings' writing career. Throughout his prolific career, Jennings wrote for a variety of newspapers and journals, in addition to freelancing and publishing with agencies. His book-length works including a biography of Barbara Hutton, stories of San Quentin and Folsom prisons, true crime, and works about Hollywood. The bulk of his article-length work reflected here are related to his true crime and fact detective pieces as well as his later profiles of Hollywood personalities. Nearly all of the manuscripts in this series are supplemented by research material, including interviews and correspondence.
