  • Correspondence files, arranged by broad subject, as filed by Senator Neuberger’s staff. The correspondence and accompanying documents relate to problems of constituents, bills pending in Congress, long-range issues, and questions of the moment that concerned or might concern Congress. The correspondence is with persons having particular interest in specific legislation or issues. Much of it is from Oregon and Pacific Northwest sources.
  • Richard Lewis Neuberger (1912-1960), an Oregon native, was a U.S. Senator (D-OR) from 1954 to 1960. The Richard Neuberger collection consists of correspondence, legislation, published articles, and newspaper articles which pertain to the literary and political career of Richard Lewis Neuberger.
