  • Alexander Merovitch of St. Petersburg, Russia, was an impressario, and managed, represented, promoted and/or advised the musicians: Vladimir Horowitz, Nathan Milstein, Gregor Piatigorsky, Vladimir Golschmann, Guido Cantelli, Peter Herman Adler, Massimo Freccia, Paul Strauss, and Oscar Shumsky. The collection (1935-1961) contains sheet music, contracts, photographs, and papers concerning the artists he managed.
